I begin with a short consultation to set expectations, agree on the style and decide the location (studio or on-location). During the session I create an atmosphere of calm and trust, because the best portraits come when the subject feels at ease. Technically, I combine controlled studio lighting with creative use of natural light outdoors, tailoring the editing style to the character of the session — from subtle retouching to more expressive, atmospheric images.
