My name is Dariusz (Darek) Czepiel — a portrait photographer working since 2010. Based around Wieliczka and Kraków, I specialise in portrait photography because I believe portrait is the best way to show who a person really is: emotions, gestures and personality captured naturally. I favour lifestyle portraiture — a mix of gentle posing and candid moments — that results in images that feel real rather than staged. I know how to work with people who are new to being photographed: I guide, I create a relaxed atmosphere and I look for the moments that reveal authenticity. Being a father and an experienced family photographer helps me capture those fleeting, honest expressions. The working process is clear and client-friendly: we talk first about your expectations — location, mood, clothing. I usually shoot outdoors using natural light, but can arrange a rented studio if needed. After the session I share an online gallery with all images so you can choose which frames you want me to edit — you have full control over the final selection. While portrait is my core expertise, I also offer related services: business and corporate portraits, engagement/couple sessions, and family and children’s portraits — all done with the same emphasis on natural, personal imagery. I have experience with wedding portrait sessions (plener shoots and engagement sessions) and can help with that if you prefer a standalone portrait session rather than full wedding reportage.
