I am Tomasz Piotrowicz — a portrait photographer based in Wieliczka. Capturing faces and the stories behind them is my main passion and area of expertise. For over five years I have focused on creating portraits that go beyond a pleasing image to convey character, emotion and authenticity. My work sits between an artistic sensibility and a documentary approach, always prioritizing genuine feeling and natural presence. My photographic voice is often described as bold and emotional — sometimes drawing on magazine-like framing and theatrical expression, while at other times embracing minimalism and silence. Projects in my portfolio, including the exhibition “Fatum,” highlight how narrative and symbolism play a role in my portrait work. I bring that same sensibility to every session, whether it’s an intimate personal portrait or an image meant to emphasize professional presence. I work through conversation and trust. Before pressing the shutter, I take time to understand a client’s expectations and personality — this helps produce portraits that truly represent who they are. Sessions are run flexibly: studio or outdoor settings, always with the subject’s comfort in mind. I offer gentle direction on poses and expression, but my priority is to capture honest, unposed moments. Portrait photography is my primary service; I occasionally accept event photography assignments, but my main focus remains portraits. I operate locally in Wieliczka and the surrounding Małopolska region.
