My name is Sybilla Czogalla and I am the photographer behind Mowa Fotografii — a place where portrait becomes a story. I specialize in portrait photography that reveals naturalness, delicacy and the beauty of each person. My approach is rooted in observation and empathy: I don't force poses, but create a space where genuine emotions can surface. I predominantly shoot in bright interiors and with natural light — that is my aesthetic. I love grain, working with digital cameras, DSLRs and analog film, and I also enjoy experimenting with studio lighting. I favour simple compositions, subtle textures and soft tones that together form timeless portraits. Depending on the session's character, I work in a studio or in the outdoors — always choosing the setting that best highlights the subject's personality. Why choose me? My work has been published in magazines like Mob Journal, The Style Researcher and The Portrait Project, and I've received distinctions in photographic competitions. I translate that experience into the ability to lead sessions so clients feel confident and natural in front of the lens. My working process begins with a conversation — I learn about your expectations, style and session goals. During the shoot I prioritize gentle communication and comfort, so even those unaccustomed to posing feel at ease. After the session I carefully select and retouch images, maintaining aesthetic consistency while preserving authenticity. I primarily offer personalized portrait sessions — from classic headshots to more conceptual work. As a complementary service I also provide business portraits and couple sessions, but portrait photography remains my core passion and specialty. I'm based in Mikołów and welcome collaborations with people who want their images to tell a true story.
