Hi — I’m Iga Kowalska, a portrait photographer focused on capturing the relationship between riders and their horses. Based in Reda, with experience across the Tri-City area and beyond, I specialize in portrait sessions that reveal character, movement and the emotional bond that makes each pair unique. My approach is rooted in creating a relaxed, respectful environment where both horse and rider feel at ease. I guide poses gently, observe body language carefully and prefer natural light situations — especially the golden hour — to shape the mood of the image. Sessions can take place in stables, outdoor locations, arenas or in studio settings, chosen to match your vision and the horse’s temperament. I work with professional Canon and Sigma equipment and refine every photograph individually in Lightroom and Photoshop. My post-production focuses on subtle retouching, removing distracting elements and cleaning the horse’s coat where needed, while preserving authenticity. If you prefer minimal editing, I tailor the final look to your preferences. The collaboration process is straightforward and client-centered: an initial conversation to define objectives, selecting the location and style of the shoot, a calm and focused session, followed by image selection in a password-protected online gallery.
